Solv, the B2B digital marketplace for micro, small and medium enterprises, backed by the Standard Chartered Group, has launched a graduated paternity leave program for its employees, in which employees can benefit from 4 weeks of paternity leave at the birth of their child.

The new program is part of Solv’s efforts to give fathers more time to bond with their newborns and support their partners by sharing childcare responsibilities, two things Solv sees as imperative for families. healthy and happy, which ultimately leads to good mental health, employee health and a productive workplace, he said in a statement. Paternity leave program

With the new paternity leave program, employees can benefit from 4 weeks of leave at the birth of a child.

The leave can be used at any time during 1 year, in whole or in part, allowing fathers to spend much-needed time with their child and share the joys of childcare with their partner.

Solv’s adoption leave policy allows 12 weeks of leave in a row, for the primary caregiver in the case of an adopted child.

In addition to the above, Solv said it has already implemented employee wellness-focused policies such as meeting-free time, special day off, and wellness day across the organization. .

Time without meeting: Under this policy, meetings are discouraged between 1:00 p.m. and 2:00 p.m., so that employees have time to relax, have a peaceful lunch, or continue working without any meeting disrupting their flow of thought.

Special day off: With this policy, employees are encouraged to take 1 working day off according to their choice to celebrate their birthday or that of their spouse or to celebrate their wedding anniversary.

Wellness day: This policy allows employees to vote for a day off once per quarter to relax and return to work recharged and invigorated.
